Covenant House is having a unique fund raiser in Atlantic
Cityon Thursday, November, 21--our Executive
Sleep Out! Executive level staff in 14 different cities across the US will be
sleeping out in solidarity to raise awareness and support for the kids of
Covenant House. We are looking to recruit executives, like yourself, who
are great supporters of our work as well as those who want to learn more about
our work, to participate in this experience at our site in Atlantic City.
I too will be sleeping out, raising awareness and funds for the kids
that I love and serve everyday. This event works similar to a marathon or walk--you register and get
people to sponsor you. We give you all the tools you'll need to do so! I would love for you to join me and what we hope to be a minimum of 30
other local executives in this challenging yet humbling experience of being
homeless for one night, knowing that each night there are thousands of kids
across NJ and the USA who experience this night after night.

Support The New Home For Arts and Music in South Jersey
Atlantic City High School will
debut its new state-of-the-art athletic field on Friday, October 18, 2013, for
the Viking Football team’s game against Buena High School. There will be a
ribbon cutting celebration for the highly anticipated home opener approximately
15 minutes prior to the 7:00 p.m. kick-off.
According to Assistant
Superintendent Barry Caldwell, the multi-purpose field will not only
accommodate football, but also lacrosse, soccer, and field hockey. A brand new
track surface and all new tennis courts were also added as part of the project.
Superintendent Donna Haye said, “We are all excited
about the new sports complex. The students, staff and community are going to
love it.”
